Circle Oak Equine employs a team of veterinary assistants who carry out the treatments and fitness programs. Reporting to our Medical Director, Dr. Schlachter, they are led by our two RVTs, Kari Farley and Nicole Numainville. With two full time and numerous part-time assistants, we are always staffed for superior equine care. The vet assistants practice preventative care as well – every horse receives a full-body check daily and is regularly groomed and handled. This ensures that the staff is evaluating each horse’s entire condition and wellness while in residence with us. Our veterinary assistants are experienced, educated and have excellent horse handling skills. In addition, they work with a calmness and deliberation that creates and supports an atmosphere of healing at Circle Oak.
