Ultimate Care and Pampering

At Circle Oak Equine, our basic board rates include virtually all of the regular services that horses require and your horse deserves. There is no additional charge for services such as blanketing, administering injections, assisting vets and farriers, grooming, bathing, handwalking, turning out, fly spray/ointment, etc. That’s why our clients call Circle Oak ‘horse heaven’. If you're a horse, it doesn’t get any better than this!

Fully staffed for superior horse care

The owners, Ron and Sara Malone, live on site, ensuring that someone is always on duty. The facility's rehabilitation and fitness programs are directed by our Medical Director, although we are delighted to work with your own veterinarian if you prefer.  In addition, we have a staff of veterinary technicians, and numerous hands, some of whom have worked for the Malones for years.  To complement our staff we have interns from Santa Rosa Junior College's Equine Science Program. Other therapeutic specialists make regular calls, such as a chiropractor, physical therapist, nutritionist and farrier.

State-of-the-Art therapies and facilities

We are now able to provide state-of-the-art health care, including hydrotherapy, stem cell, IRAP, PRP, ultrasound, shockwave, acupuncture, and microcurrent therapy, as well as chiropractic and bodywork, most of which can be done on site by Dr. Schlachter.  Techniques such as these are incorporated into horse care programs as necessary and directed by the supervising veterinarian.  Our largely custom-designed facilities provide for the ultimate in equine and handler safety and comfort.  We provide facilities and support for all examinations and treatments by attending veterinarians and health-care practitioners.
