Circle Oak’s team of veterinarians includes UCD professor emeritus, surgeon and lameness specialist Jack Snyder, DVM, PhD, DACVS; Medical Director and rehabilitation specialist Carrie Schlachter, VMD, IVCAc, IVASc and equine radiologist Sarah Puchalski, DVM, DACVR. Dr. Schlachter also oversees an outstanding team of equine veterinary technicians, assistants and interns, who, in addition to assisting in imaging and surgery, carry out the rehab and fitness programs. Referring veterinarians are encouraged to consult with our doctors and participate fully in their patients’ recovery while they are at Circle Oak.
